Monroe Engineering is currently seeking a dynamic individual for a Counter Sales Position in Cincinnati, OH

Responsibilities:
- Assist walk in customers with order placing and will call pickups.
- Answer incoming calls and process orders.
- Help the warehouse team with any incoming merchandise for customers.
- Identify customer product needs and create sales quotes/orders.
- Develop relationships with current & prospective customers.
- Works with the Branch Manager and Outside Sales Team to recognize and cultivate potential sales leads from existing and prospective customers.
- Maintain a strong customer relationship after the sale through follow up emails or phone calls.
- Processes orders - performs order entry, reviews orders for correct handling, pricing, quantities and shipping data.
- Informs customer of unit prices, shipping date, anticipated delays, and any additional information needed by customer.
- Coordinates with warehouse department to pull product(s) for customer.
- Maintain a clean, orderly and inviting showroom and workspace.
Qualifications:
A great attitude and customer service experience. Fastener knowledge is a plus, but not required. The ability to solve problems, source products & present solutions. The ability to communicate and work well with other employees. The ability to work a minimum of 40 hours per week between the hours of 8:00am - 4:30pm.
