Summary of Duties & Responsibilities: The Business Development Manager is responsible for driving growth of the ALFAPARF Brand through creation and deployment of quarterly territory plans and by partnering effectively with the distributor team in the territory. This individual will be expected to create a high-performance territory and meet sales goals consistently.

Expectations:

  • Master knowledge of the ALFAPARF brand, history, and products, and convey that knowledge to salons and distribution team partners
  • Drive demand and deliver exceptional results against sales targets by meeting new business goals, distributor store and field growth goals, and growth of existing salon business
  • Convert salons to ALFAPARF color and retail and build long-standing brand support and loyalty through support planning
  • Build relationships with pre-identified distributor group in assigned market
  • Execute plan for territory as created in collaboration with the Territory Sales Manager
  • Drive growth by supporting ALFAPARF salons, closing new ALFAPARF salons, driving sales through the education and support of key distributor stores and DSCs
  • Work with education to schedule educators for in-salon/in-store demonstrations and classes in support of new account acquisition and/or brand category support or expansion
  • Create and maintain a detailed 90-day calendar, prioritized by key areas of focus and approved by sales manager
  • Provide ALFAPARF
  • Complete all assigned administrative tasks on-time and accurately, as assigned by ALFAPARF sales leadership
  • Present brand, products and plan for growth effectively at all Distributor sales meetings and calls

Required Skills:

  • Love of beauty - specifically professional hair
  • Track record of sales success and a desire to bring ALFAPARF to new salons
  • A knowledge of the region – specifically the distributors and regional salons
  • Cosmetology license is highly preferred
  • Comfort presenting and educating to a large audience
  • Ability to learn and master new information quickly
  • Self motivated, resourceful and highly motivated
  • Highly organized with strong communication
  • Ability to travel 50-75% of the time
  • Must possess a valid driver’s license
  • Bi-lingual is a plus
