Overview An Environmental Programs & Sustainability Manager’s primary duty is to plan, coordinate and administer the company’s programs, policies and procedures to ensure environmental regulatory compliance and sustainable growth.

  • Supervises activities of direct report(s) in the conduct of their duties
  • Ensures compliance with all applicable government environmental regulations
  • Maintains necessary environmental records and preparation of reports
  • Participates in EHS audits and inspections, providing inspectors with appropriate documents and subject matter expertise
  • Designs, implements, and administers appropriate environmental compliance and sustainability policies and procedures
  • Trains employees on company policies and regulations pertaining to environmental compliance and sustainability
  • Identifies hazardous workplace conditions and materials
  • Facilitates implementation of appropriate corrective actions

  • Bachelor’s degree or a combination of education and experience
  • 3-5 years of leadership experience
  • Experience improving wastewater treatment and waste programs at a cGMP facility preferred
