The Account Director serves as the main point of contact for our top global customers and as the key strategy thought leader. The Account Director aligns Terakeet’s internal strategy with our customer’s business goals and objectives and directs internal customer teams to execute innovative influencer marketing and SEO campaigns.
They will be responsible for managing multi-million dollar customer accounts and will typically have access to the C Suite of Fortune 1000 organizations.
The Account Director reports directly to the Vice President of Account Management.
This role will need to be on-site in Syracuse, NY. Relocation available.

Partners with our customers to develop a comprehensive understanding of their business needs and challenges. Works with internal teams to ensure that customers derive maximum value from their investment.
Serves as the key thought leader in aligning the internal strategy with a customer’s business goals and objectives.
Collaborates with internal teams (e.g. Tech SEO, Creative, Outreach) to deliver compelling and measurable campaigns for our customers.
Serves as the main point of contact for the customer; developing a cadence of weekly, monthly and quarterly meetings as necessary.
Monitors and understands the customer's competitive landscape and keeps abreast of marketing/advertising and brand-specific trends, across all channels.
Presents opportunities for growth in the customer relationship to internal and external stakeholders, allowing the Sales Executive, Sales Analyst, and VP of Operations to develop a clear and competitive renewal/upsell strategy.
Travels a minimum of 25% for quarterly business reviews, onboarding kickoff meetings, and additional request as needed.

Preferred Education, Experience, and Skills
Six or more years of professional work experience in a related role.
Track record of successfully growing customer relationships and budgets with a partnership-first focus, at a senior level.
Profound understanding of search engine optimization and the ways in which branded and non-branded organic authority and visibility are earned via the web.
Experience developing customer specific strategies and KPI’s that are in line with business goals and objectives.
Hands on experience managing multiple customer accounts and handling day-to-day customer interaction.
Thorough understanding of digital and traditional marketing principles.
Track record of critical thinking and application of problem-solving skills; ability to understand, articulate, structure and solve customer needs.
Comfortable presenting in group settings and directly to any/all levels of an organization.
Strong verbal, written, and digital communication skills.
Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Advertising, Communications, PR or business.
