The Department of Pediatrics at the University of Utah School of Medicine has an immediate opening for an academic Comprehensive Care General Pediatrician. The Comprehensive Care General Pediatrician will provide ambulatory and inpatient consultative care for children with medical complexity at Primary Children’s Hospital and University of Utah Health. The Comprehensive Care Program is an innovative program of team-based care designed to deliver high value healthcare for children with high medical complexity, high medical fragility, technology dependencies and developmental disabilities. Generalist-specialist partnerships provide the foundation for this program. In addition to clinical care, there is an expectation for academic work, including education, investigation and administration.

Qualified candidates must be board eligible/board certified in General Pediatrics or in another related specialty. Preference will be given to candidates who have experience caring for children with medical complexity. The selected candidate will receive a faculty appointment in the Department of Pediatrics on the clinical or tenure track, at the academic level commensurate with experience and qualifications.
