Job Description:
Manages all phases of remote office operations to ensure maximum sales and profitability. Supports Service Supervisor with oversight of contract fulfillment and service delivery. Redeems annual booking plan in assigned markets and territory at company approved pricing standards. Meets planned growth, profit, maintenance base, and customer retention goals while redeeming customer obligations in a timely, cost-effective, high-quality manner.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Other duties may be assigned that are not included in the job description:

ANNUAL PLAN REDEMPTION:
Redeem annual plan in bookings, activity, sales cost, G&A, sales head count, actual gross profit, maintenance base, and net operating income.
Responsible for maximizing sales through assisting customers in the selection and purchase of HVAC products and services while following all company policies and procedures.
Responsible for achieving department sales goals and mentoring sales associates in achieving their individual sales goals.
Supports the client development program to promote a high level of product knowledge.
Assists in identifying opportunities to maximize sales and ensure financial goals are achieved.
Minimizes cancellation rate by assisting and directing sales and operations to promptly and effectively redeem customer obligations and respond to cancellation notices.
Instructs, directs, and monitors Operations staff in applying principles of cost/benefit to gain maximum utilization of company resources.

STAFF DEVELOPMENT AND RELATIONSHIP MANAGEMENT:
Establishes plan to effectively support annual goals through delegation and work monitoring.
Builds rapport and productive working relationships with customer, vendors, and other outside agents. Effectively represents the company’s interests to outside agents to maximize profits.
Leads by example and maintains consistent selling and service standards through communication, training and individual accountability.
Utilizes coaching to develop direct reports and promote their growth: conducts performance evaluations timely and ensures direct reports understand what is expected of them; works closely with Human Resources to manage performance or behavioral concerns.
Consults with Human Resources to ensure personnel actions are appropriate (i.e. hiring, firing, promotions, demotions, compensation, etc.)
Promotes strong working relationships between Operations and Sales.
Continually builds and maintains a network of industry contacts and supports company recruiting efforts.

SYSTEMS AND PROGRAMS:
Regularly reviews operating policies, procedures and methods: recommends and implements change as needed
Measures effectiveness of existing energy services programs, identifies problems or weaknesses, and establishes new methods or corrective action
Prepares complete, clear concise reports
Ensures existing Risk Management/Loss Control procedures are communicated and adhered to by staff
Identifies and resolves problems in a timely manner, gathers and analyzes information skillfully, recommends alternative solutions

SAFETY:
Promotes company’s Safety Program and adheres to protocols set forth in the Loss Control Manual
Holds self and all staff accountable for safety compliance
Supports the Safety Manager’s training efforts and OSHA compliance initiatives

PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORK ENVIRONMENT:
The physical demands and work environment characteristics described here are representative of those that must be met by an associate to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
Able to climb stairs and ladders
Able to lift legs and step over obstacles up to 19 inches above the ground
Able to perform work while in varying physical positions, such as lying on side, in a kneeling position, while standing on a ladder
Able to access rooftop units and work at heights and in some cases tight or enclosed spaces
Able to wear a respirator if conditions require; may have brief exposure to environments that are smoky, dusty or dirty
Able to crawl, stoop, crouch or kneel for up to 5 minutes at a time

Required Experience:
Bachelor’s Degree required, Master’s Degree preferred
5-7 years of Commercial HVAC experience preferred
3-5 years operations and strategic management experience
Strong financial acumen: ability to understand income sheet
Demonstrated leadership skills and ability to manage Sr. Leaders, Front Line Leaders and Staff
Regular and punctual attendance is required
Establishes a professional model of organizational culture, policy, and customer commitment
