Our client in the aviation industry is seeking a Licensed Drone Flight Support Assistant to join their team. As a Flight Support Assistant, you will be part of the Operations team supporting the Company's new drone delivery service. The ideal candidate will have excellent problem-solving skills, strong time management skills, and hold a current and valid FAA Part 107 certificate.
Job Title: Licensed Drone Flight Support Assistant
Location: Tolleson, AZ
Pay Range: $28.33/HR on Experis W2
What's the Job?
- Assist in crew briefings, mission planning, and performing critical roles in field operations
- Ensure a safe operational environment for drone delivery
- Prepare for the day’s operations and work with aircraft and flight operations equipment
- Install batteries, move aircraft to/from flight line, and work with operator in command to complete checklists safely
- Create SOP’s for processes and work closely with crew members
What's Needed?
- Hold a current and valid FAA Part 107 certificate
- Hold an FAA Certificate for small, unmanned aircraft operations
- Have 2+ years of work experience or a completed Associates degree (non-specific)
- Able to lift equipment and carry out physical activity with or without reasonable accommodation (45 lbs.)
- Strong communication up and down, excellent problem-solving skills, and strong time management skills
