Employee Engagement Committee - The Employee Engagement Committee meets on a regular basis to determine which events and non-profit organizations the organization supports annually. Volunteer members organize golf outings, luncheons, tournaments, fund raisers and more! A successful Superintendent is responsible under the supervision of the DSC President for the project management, coordination, supervision and quality control of construction projects be performing the following duties personally or through other staff.

Studies specifications to plan procedures for construction on basis of starting and completion times and staffing requirements for each phase of construction.

Assembles members of organization (supervisory, clerical, engineering, and other workers) at start of project.

Conduct meetings in accordance with company procedures for providing communication to management, customers, regulatory agencies and the general public.

Orders procurement of contracts, insurance, bonds, and other administrative forms.

Confers with and directs supervisory personnel and subcontractors engaged in planning and executing work procedures, interpreting specifications, and coordinating various phases of construction to prevent delays.

Resolve problems in workable and cost-effective ways to prevent delays.

Inspects work in progress to ensure that workmanship conforms to specifications and the adherence to construction schedules.

Prepares or reviews reports on progress, materials used and costs, and adjusts work schedules as indicated by reports.

Prepares and maintains all required paperwork as determined by the company s policies and procedures and the projects needs.

Provide training and follow up to customer in accordance with company procedures.

Mitigates risk in all processes in performance of one s duties.
