The Enterprise Management campaign manager is responsible for the campaign management of customer acquisition activities. The role is a key part of the Enterprise Management team and is responsible for the planning and local executing of both global and local customer acquisition campaigns in North America. This role involves the creation (for local campaigns only), development, planning and execution of both global and local tactical and strategic campaigns in line with the global marketing strategy for Enterprise Management Marketing.
Key Responsibilities As an Enterprise Management Campaign Manager, you’ll be responsible for:

  • Creation (for local campaigns), planning and execution of tactical and strategic communications activity to deliver New Customer Marketing programs
  • To prepare detailed campaign plans, data briefs, and to own & enforce them across internal and external agencies with confidence, clarity, and strong alignment with business goals.
  • To proactively co-ordinate marketing campaigns across all elements of the marketing mix and across any involved stakeholders.
  • Tailoring communications messages in each campaign to connect to relevant customer personas in line with territory carving provided by the local Marketing Ops teams in order to deliver on defined business targets.
  • Know and understand customer personas and segmentation provided by Product Marketing to help make well-informed decisions on segmentation and targeting of their campaigns
  • Monitor, analyze and represent campaign results to the business and continuously optimize campaigns based on feedback from internal stakeholders.
  • Liaise and share best practices and knowledge, be the ‘expert’ in marketing communications to others in the business, supporting the commercial success of our solutions and products.
  • Collaborate closely with sales organization to ensure that there is full visibility and reporting on Enterprise Management campaigns and delivered results across demand waterfall metrics (MQL, SQL, SQOs and revenue impact).
  • Leadership, briefings, and ongoing communication across any external suppliers to drive highly customer centric, relevant, and bold communications delighting our customers.
  • Leveraging and integrating global content into local campaigns where appropriate.
  • Competent at writing, proofing and editing copy for all forms of communication.
  • To understand, organize and manage budget to the format supplied by Marketing Operations.
  • Work with local digital teams to ensure web content is kept up to date, fully localised and relevant.
  • Act as a champion and guardian of Sage’s values and brand identity, ensuring messaging, positioning, tone of voice, visual identity is consistent and in line with the global brand guidelines, across all channels and in all activities.
  • Manage campaigns across PR / Social Media team to help promote Sage’s global & local products and services in alignment with all internal teams.
  • Ensure consistency and enforce high quality standards across all communications as a result of advanced and accurate proofing skills, in line with the local and global internal approvals process.
Person Specification

  • Marketing or Business Degree or equivalent experience
  • 8+ years of relevant experience
  • Highly results-driven, customer-centric, collaborative, and experienced campaigns professional, who is confident, friendly and comfortable working with people at all levels.
  • Proven competence in marketing and communications, including brand building, taking a set of core messages and transforming them to a form suitable for a wide variety of audiences, selecting which media to use, press and PR, direct marketing, digital marketing, social media, database marketing, campaign creation, execution, and monitoring.
  • Strong understanding of trends in digital marketing and social media and how to leverage these channels most effectively.
  • Strong scribbling skills, with the ability to write in an engaging & authentic style, putting information into our brand voice while remaining faithful to the facts and thorough in your approach.
  • An eye for great pictures and good judgment when it comes to selecting images that tell a story and catch the reader’s attention.
  • Great talent for digesting a lot of information, quickly getting to grips with new topics and making good calls on the best things to include.
  • Ability to develop new methods and big ideas to engage an Enterprise audience across digital marketing and social media channels.
  • Knowledge of Web Content Management Systems, print, and direct mail production.
  • Proven track record and ability to deliver Enterprise Marketing campaigns with a significant impact on revenue and defined business goals.
