The Bed and Biscuit at Memorial Animal Hospital is urgently hiring. Our staff members strive to provide a safe, low stress boarding experience where all of our canine and feline guests are treated like family. We are looking for highly motivated individuals who are detail oriented and have a passion for animals. Experience working with cats and dogs is preferred but not required. Must be able to work at a fast pace while also being extremely thorough. Applicants must be trustworthy, have a positive attitude and able to perform tasks without supervision. Excellent critical thinking skills and customer service is a must! Training provided.
Must be able to work weekends, evenings and most holidays. Regular shifts are 7am-2pm and 1 or 2pm- 8pm. Holiday shifts are only 3 ½ to 4 hours long.
Employees are responsible for performing the following:
Running dogs out for potty breaks
Feeding dogs and cats
Administering needed medications
Clearly labeling all feeding and medication instructions
Cleaning kennels and cat condos
Providing individual play times
Checking guests in and out
Taking reservations over the phone
Educating clients on vaccinations and all other kennel requirements'
