This position is responsible for the operation of a department. An individual in this position will be expected to perform additional job related
responsibilities and duties as assigned and/or necessary.
Essential Functions
An individual must be able to successfully perform the essential functions of this position with or without a reasonable accommodation.
Maintains merchandise presentation by stocking merchandise, setting up, cleaning, and organizing product displays, removing damaged goods,
signing and pricing merchandise appropriately, and securing fragile and high-shrink merchandise.
Provides Member service by acknowledging the Member, identifying their needs, assisting with purchasing decisions, locating merchandise, resolving
issues and concerns, and promoting the Company's products and services.
Follows Company policies and procedures for preparing, handling, packaging, labeling, and storing food, operating and sanitizing food-related
equipment, stocking and displaying food products, and maintaining and cleaning the Fresh Department.
Maintains safety of facility by following all safety standards, procedures, and guidelines including conducting safety sweeps, following proper forklift
spotting procedures, following company steel standard guidelines, and correcting/reporting unsafe situations to management.
Cleans the Produce and Floral area (for example, windows, mirrors, display cases and coolers) while following company procedures, guidelines, and
methods, and utilizing approved chemicals, supplies, tools, and equipment.
Maintains the presentation and organization of the Produce and Floral Department by assisting Members with purchasing decisions, inspecting
merchandise to ensure it is fresh, clean, and presentable while reworking and removing damaged merchandise.
Maintains the Sales Floor in the Produce and Floral area in accordance with Company policies and procedures by properly handling claims and
returns, zoning the area, arranging and organizing merchandise, and identifying shrink and damages.
Receives and stocks merchandise in the Produce and Floral area, and organizes and maintains the Produce and Floral area by following Company
procedures, utilizing equipment appropriately, merchandising, and completing paperwork, logs, and other required documentation
Provides floral products and services to members by pricing, rotating, and stocking merchandise; assisting members with purchasing decisions;
taking special orders; and ensuring merchandise is fresh, clean, and presentable.
Complies with company policies, procedures, and standards of ethics and integrity by implementing related action plans; using the Open Door Policy;
and applying these in executing business processes and practices.
Completes work assignments and priorities by using policies, data, and resources; collaborating with managers, co-workers, customers, and other
business partners; identifying priorities, deadlines, and expectations; carrying out tasks; communicating progress and information; determining and
recommending ways to address improvement opportunities; and adapting to and learning from change, difficulties, and feedback.

An individual must be proficient in each of the competencies listed below to successfully perform the responsibilities of this position.
Inventory - Handles, moves, and displays goods in safe and correct ways. Tracks goods, maintains in-stock levels, and controls shrinkage in a timely
manner. Reports poor inventory practices and low in-stock levels in assigned area. Uses inventory tools and equipment in safe and correct ways.
Fresh - Handles, stores, cooks, and cleans food in safe and correct ways. Informs Members about Fresh items when asked to do so. Prepares, takes,
and fills orders for Fresh items in a timely manner. Observes and reports complaints and problems with Fresh products, services, and work areas.
Uses Fresh equipment and supplies in safe and correct ways, and cleans and logs them after each use.
Customer/Member Centered: Serve the Customer/Member - Shows care and concern when serving our customers/members. Asks questions in order
to understand customer/member needs. Uses policies and information in order to exceed customer/member expectations. Finds and uses the right
resources (people, products, tools) at the right time in order to resolve customer/member requests.

Job Type: Part-time

Salary: $11.50 to $12.50 /hour
