SeKON is looking for a Federal Infrastructure Engineer to join our talented and innovative team supporting the Defense Healthcare Management Systems (DHMS) and its program offices in Arlington, VA. The mission lifecycle of DHMS is to competitively acquire, test, deliver, and successfully transition to a state-of-the-market electronic health record (EHR) system. In partnership with the Defense Health Agency (DHA), Services, and industry, DHMS is developing a deployment and sustainment strategy to optimize the delivery of a modernized EHR with minimal disruption to the military health care community.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Validation of technical requirements, system integration, and system interface to include interpretation of documentation and change management requirements for the Federal Electronic Health Record (EHR).
- Coordinates and assists in network connectivity, troubleshooting, and release cycle support of the Federal Electronic Health Record (EHR) release lifecycles. Tasking also includes setup, testing, and deployment activities.
- Coordinate with other engineering professionals in a highly matrixed environment to coordinate with Enterprise level Services including:
- Technical Infrastructure Support
- Ports, Protocols, and Services (PPS)
- Network Engineering (WAN/WLAN/LAN)
- Cloud Engineering Support
- Active Directory Support (DSS)
- Identity Services (SAML, IAM, LDAP, ISE)
- Firewall and ENS Teams Support
- Review and complete Critical Design Reviews (CDR) with vendors to ensure that design meets infrastructure needs and can be coordinated with deadlines, and project expectations. Excellent communication skills required to provide feedback and ensure that complex information in design reviews is clear, accurate, and concise in both normal circumstances as well as in crisis.
- Monitor and Support projects in all phases of the DoD Acquisition Engineering process including requirements, Critical Design Review, Operational Readiness Review, and Implementation.
Support and review change requests in the Federal Change Control Board for new projects, Ports/Protocols/Services Change Requests.

REQUIRED SKILLS:
- Must have an active DoD Secret Clearance
- Undergraduate degree in Engineering, IT, Computer Science, or equivalent experience
- Certifications: CompTIA Security+ or equivalent, and current Cloud Certification (AWS Solutions Architect Associate or equivalent, desired experience for OCI Solutions Architect Associate).
- Recent 3+ years of experience within Federal Enterprise Infrastructure.
- Understanding of project management lifecycle to include interfacing with senior level government customers.
- Familiarity with the Defense Acquisition System Engineer Technical review process.
- Experience in SDLC process for deploying features, updates, and programming as well as new product roll outs for continual Federal Electronic Health Record improvements.
- Must have superior verbal and written communication and customer service skills as well as experience building partnerships with teammates, customers and other vendors.
- Skill in the use of various types of office automation to includes Microsoft Suite (PowerPoint, Word, Excel, Visio, Project and Access).
- Ability to work collaboratively and proactively with customers and program office members in a multi-vendor environment.
