The SharePoint Lead will be the primary liaison between Product Owners/business stakeholders and the technical team. They will serve in a leadership capacity for the SharePoint support team, performing upgrades, enhancements and maintenance for the SharePoint platform and various business applications. The will assist the government PM with work management coordination, ensure the team follows and executes SOPs to adhere to SP governance, improve on existing processes/SOPs where needed, provide Tier 2 support to end-user community, and provide coaching to junior member on the team for SP issues and tasks.
At least 6 years of experience as a SharePoint Administrator or Developer
Demonstrated experience in a leadership role on SharePoint projects
Experience working on SharePoint projects for at least 3 separate customers, at least one of which was using SharePoint 2013
Familiarity with OOTB features of SharePoint 2013 – Setting up lists and libraries, workflows, content types etc.
Experience using SharePoint Designer to customize SP features not available through browser
Experience with InfoPath Designer 2013 to create and customize InfoPath forms
Experience troubleshooting workflows, InfoPath forms, user permission issues etc.
Ability to create and follow SOP documentation to adhere to SharePoint governance
Communication skills to interact with end users and customers on a needed basis
Ability to mentor/provide directions to junior members on the team
Ability to prioritize and multi-task issues
