Business Operations Analyst

Review and analyze business data to ensure quality and accuracy
Collaborate with internal teams to perform data and business process analysis, document business requirements, and create innovative information solutions
Identify opportunities to improve operational processes with technology solutions
Develop and utilize dashboards effectively to enable data-driven decision making and recommendations
Provide maintenance support to resolve customer reported issues
Ability to use data to “tell a story” by creating interactive dashboards with BI tools
Manage all project requests coming into the DGC and work with leadership to prioritize, resource and deliver.
Participate in and drive DGC prioritized projects within Governance Committees
Perform predictive, proactive business data analysis and share insights with leaders
Correlate information from various sources, identify and facilitate the correction of inconsistent information
Create and send reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information
Build rapport and establish strong working relationships with executive and leadership teams to provide solutions to problems
Provide strategic analytical support and administrative task-based tactical support
Respond to business needs with appropriate support using systems, processes, and reports
Define and deploy operational metrics, monitor and report on their effectiveness, perform analysis, and derive performance conclusions
Establish standard procedures, policies, and templates to improve overall practice execution
Assist in system maintenance and enhancements for systems owned by the Operations team (Jira, SharePoint, Vision, Qlikview and Dropbox)
Adapt to changing priorities driven by changing business requirements
Provide exceptional customer service to internal and external clients
Participate in meetings and calls with internal customers, stakeholders, and other Deltek teams
Perform other duties as assigned


Education & Experience:
Degree from an accredited college/university
Advanced MS Excel experience
5+ years of experience in the areas of finance, business management and/or service operations in mid-to-large scale organization
1+ years of experience with Business Intelligence and Customer Relationship Management tools for revenue reporting and forecasting i.e. Qlikview, Power BI and Salesforce
Keen eye for details and aptitude for working with data
Ability to reconcile data across multiple systems to the transactional level.
Experience with modeling business processes, data flows, and workflow processes
Experience working in software/technology environment
Strong business acumen and understanding of consulting business operations
Understanding of operational reporting, forecasting, and financial metrics
Comfortable and adept communicating with executive level leadership
Strong problem solving skills and an analytical mind
Proven experience as a collaborative team player
Project management experience working with local and remote teams
