Technical Packaging Coordinator

The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills; be extremely organized; proactive; be able to multi-task successfully; and must be very detail-oriented.

This position will work closely with Packaging Manager, Overseas Contacts, and Compliance teams on technical areas of packaging; primarily maintaining information for system while assisting with daily correspondence, packaging compliance, and review of factory sample submits for infant and toddler products.


  • Develop and maintain up to date information and documents for customer requirements and databases as necessary
  • Coordinating the communication of necessary product collateral (i.e. packaging, folding instructions, specification sheets, product photos), ensuring all information is clear, correct and provided to the factory by the company calendar due date per each opportunity
  • Create technical specification packets for new or existing items, review product information to make sure it accurately reflects our products
  • Assist with product information requests for product specifications related to exported product for current and potential business
  • Make sure all product assets provided by the packaging designer and graphic artist are consistent and include all relevant information per brand, per opportunity
  • Order components for packaging mock-ups as needed; including bags, hangers, ribbons, packaging, etc.
  • Upload and update materials, labels, packaging, and packets in web system as needed
  • Assist in proofing and reviewing submittals from various vendors for all packaging, labeling, and folding materials
  • Communicate with factories to answer packaging and labeling development questions and resolve issues
  • Coordinate with Private Label Contacts, Marketing and/or Design for approval process with packaging direction, electronic, and physical submits
  • Special projects, as needed

  • College Degree preferred
  • 1 – 3 years of related production experience

  • Ability to work well with all levels of internal management and staff as well as outside vendors

Preferred Skills:
