Job Description

What You’ll Get to Do:
The Help Desk Specialist will provide technical support for software and hardware issues to multiple end users in an enterprise IT environment.

More About the Role:
Provide 24x7 first response/Tier 1 Help Desk support.
Provide phone and in-person support to users in the areas of e-mail, LAN/WAN, directories, standard desktop images and applications, COTS and GOTS applications.
Serve as the initial point of contact for troubleshooting all IT related problems, including hardware/software, passwords, and printer problems.
May be required to respond to after-hours requests as required in a 24 x 7 environment. Shift work is required.

You’ll Bring These Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in a Technical, Math or Business discipline from an accredited college or University and one (1) year demonstrated Help Desk experience. OR two (2) years of Help Desk experience with an Associates OR three (3) years’ experience may be substituted for a Bachelor’s degree.
Experience should include experience supporting users with MS Office products including Word, Excel and Outlook.
Knowledge of directories, desktop images and various applications.
Strong customer support background and verbal communication skills.

These Qualifications Would be Nice to Have:
Experience with ticketing systems such as Remedy, SMS or ServiceNow
