Amazon Web Services is looking for motivated, customer obsessed individuals to support data center operations.
We’re looking for a detail-oriented candidate to join our team. We’ll need you to ensure that we continue delivering as reliably as ever to our customers, with all teams maintaining their performance and quality of service.
When working in data center operations your time will be devoted to Quality Assurance (QA). In this line of responsibility, you’ll proactively audit team efficiency. For example: how closely everyone in your data center is adhering to agreed processes, while highlighting any discrepancies. Additional duties will include: incident response, media handling requirements and escalations, support for ongoing maintenance and operational activities to support customer requirements, vendor contractual SLA compliance and risk assessment program implementation. Data Center operations are 24/7 and rotational shift work will be required, with minimal expected overtime.
Associate's degree or equivalent years of relevant work experience
Basic understanding of auditing and quality control functions
Experience interpreting workflow processes
Experience communicating with internal and external customers
Experience in operating in a data center or operations environment, safety and security functions
Experience working in organizations providing critical systems or operational support
Proficiency with MS Office Suite and programs to include Word, Excel, Outlook
Professional verbal/written communication skills
