Our Transporters are responsible for the effective, daily coordination and monitoring of patient transportation service activities through timely and accurate dispatch. Responsible for management of customer transportation request and efficient assignments of transport personnel. Transports patients, specimens, blood and blood products, charts, medical records and other documents, linens and Central Supply Equipment/Supplies as requested, in a safe and timely manner.
Education Training and Experience
High School diploma or equivalent.
Must complete on the job orientation and training as scheduled.
Positive customer service skills are essential.
Ability to speak, read, write and understand English.
CPR certification required. Must attain this certification during orientation if not certified at time of hire.
