Clinical Fellow (CF) Delaware – Early Intervention (EI)

· Reimbursement of up to $300 for any continuing education you complete that is applicable to early intervention
Full Time- Base plus bonus $60K-$100K
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Provide a comprehensive service and support plan including individualized family support plan (IFSP) goals for children ages 0-3
- Adhere to frequency, duration and appropriate treatment guidelines as indicated in the child’s IFSP
- Provide comprehensive treatment to infants and toddlers utilizing bagless therapy and coaching to promote developmental growth in natural environments
- Document children’s progress on session notes and during quarterly/annual meetings, as dictated by county and state guidelines as well as barriers to treatment sessions
- Modify treatment goals as indicated, on appropriate forms and in a timely manner.
- Document plans and information needed for team meetings.
- Attend and participate in meetings as indicated by state and local program requirements
- Cover other therapists patient caseload during absence as necessary.
- Maintain professional relationship with co-workers, patients and patient families image at all times.
- Adhere to productivity requirements, complete productivity reports and submit in a timely manner
- Complete all agency and state mandated trainings
- Complete all agency and state mandated documentation
- Maintain records of clinical hours acquired each week during each portion of the CFY as indicated by ASHA
QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS:
- Graduate of an accredited university with an MA, or M.S. in communication disorders that is recognized by ASHA.
- Experience in Early Intervention preferred.
Physical Demands:
Employee should be able to transfer clients, lift weights, transport clients and perform treatment on floors, schools, home, and playgrounds as needed to incorporate the child’s natural learning environment. Employee should be knowledgeable in and exercise good body mechanics during client’s treatment.
