Position Description
As a Product Sales Specialist you will be responsible for increasing NEC Display Solutions’ Direct View LED product sales. Your responsibilities will include territory support activities such as product demonstrations, trade shows, training, and sales seminars. You will work out of your home office and ideally be located in the upper-Midwest or Eastern region of the United States, including the Chicago, Atlanta, Washington D.C., and New York metro areas. Multiple positions available.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:

Become the technical product expert on Direct View LED product line, applications and associated solutions
Collaborate with Product Marketing department to keep updated on the latest product knowledge
Sales responsibility for a specified geographical territory
Partner with existing account-assigned Sales Representatives within territory to provide technical product knowledge and support to close sales
Ensure adequate communication and consultation is provided to our customers to help close sales
Work closely with Solutions Sales Architects in designing solutions for various Direct View LED applications
Provide value by becoming the trusted advisor to customers
Responsible for development and delivery of product demonstrations, assist with new product launches, product trainings, and review product roadmaps with new and existing customers
Maintain knowledge of industry and related competitive products as well as be able to articulate differences in order to position NEC products in the marketplace
Demonstrate effective planning, organizational skills, and time management
Able to convey customer requirements to Sales and Product Marketing teams
Prepare sales reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing sales information as well as engineering and application trends
Travel throughout territory – up to 60%
Develop relationships with end users, strategic partners, distributors and resellers to maximize selling opportunities
Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reviewing professional publications, establishing personal networks, and participating in professional societies

Position Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Electronics, Business or equivalent
Direct View LED product and system sales experience is highly preffered
Minimum 2 Years Outside Sales experience with an IT reseller, Pro A/V dealer, A/V consulting firm or manufacturer within the high tech industry
Proven ability to communicate technical information to a wide audience
Experience in technical and solutions selling required
Excellent interpersonal, presentation & communication skills
Assess sales opportunities, applications and needs.
Organized and analytical, able to eliminate sales obstacles through creative and adaptive approaches
CTS certification is a plus
Visio or CAD knowledge is a plus
SalesForce or CRM knowledge is a plus
