Northrop Grumman Space Systems is seeking an experienced Sr. Proposal Analyst responsible for crafting, and editing content for large and complex proposals for U.S. government customers. This position will be located in Dulles, VA.
Serve as the Proposal Lead/Analyst working as an integral part of proposal team, act as a volume lead for technical, management, past performance and other volumes as needed
Develop proposal outlines, and volume templates
Maintain configuration control of assigned volumes
Provide just-in-time writing training to the technical writers, as needed
Work with engineers to translate technical and other ideas into clear, easily understandable text, while ensuring accuracy
Edit and review proposal sections and related proposal documents
Thoroughly review all assigned proposal response volumes and sections, ensuring written consistency in the final proposal after review of various team and technical input
Coordinate with functional areas, business areas, subcontractors and others to research and to collect data required for technical proposal development
Assist with color team reviews and post-review update
9 years' relevant experience in proposals, contracts, business management, subcontracts, program management, business development, pricing analysis, or supply chain
Intermediate proficiency with MS Suite
Must be able to obtain and maintain a Security clearance
Strong knowledge of all aspects of business and proposal management
Strong knowledge of Microsoft Word and Adobe Acrobat
Experience using GovWin, FedBizOpps, and FPDS
A Top Secret clearance, or ability to obtain a clearance
