Job Description:
We are looking for a qualified HEDIS Nurse to join our organization. The HEDIS Nurse will play a crucial role in ensuring compliance with Healthcare Effectiveness Data and Information Set (HEDIS) requirements. The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting medical record reviews, identifying and collecting relevant data, and ensuring accurate reporting of quality measures.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive medical record reviews to identify and extract relevant data for HEDIS measures.
- Collaborate with healthcare providers and support staff to obtain necessary documentation for HEDIS reporting.
- Analyze and interpret medical records to ensure compliance with HEDIS standards.
- Enter and maintain data in HEDIS software systems accurately and efficiently.
- Identify opportunities for improvement in documentation and coding practices to enhance HEDIS scores.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement strategies to improve quality measures.
- Stay updated on current HEDIS guidelines and ensure adherence to all regulatory requirements.
- Prepare reports and presentations on HEDIS performance and outcomes for internal and external stakeholders.
- Provide education and training to staff on HEDIS requirements and best practices.
Requirements:
- Valid nursing license in [State] (RN/LPN).
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in HEDIS, preferably in a healthcare organization or managed care setting.
- Strong knowledge of HEDIS measures and guidelines.
- Proficiency in medical record review and abstraction.
- Familiarity with HEDIS software systems and data entry.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data collection and reporting.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8am - 5pm
Note: The position will start in October 2023. Please ensure your availability to commence work by that time.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $30.09 - $40.00 per hour
