Family investment office seeks qualified accountant to work primarily in our internal commercial property management group. At a minimum we are looking for an experienced bookkeeper with 5 years of Quickbooks experience including general ledger work, however we are open to hiring a more experienced accountant who can grow with the business and oversee additional employees over time. Experience with Yardi software also a requirement.
The Company's portfolio of commercial properties are located primarily in the Austin area and include retail, warehouse and office property types. All property management book keeping is done within the Yardi system. On a monthly basis the net funds are transferred into the respective ownership entity banks accounts. All entity book keeping is maintained in Quickbooks Enterprise. Approximately 50 legal entities are utilized with a variety of ownership structures. We do not solicit or utilize investor funds. All investments are internally funded minimizing external reporting.
The firm also holds several other operating businesses including a hotel and resort, cash washes, laundry mats, an RV Park and self-storage. The job may involve working across business lines. Applicants should be comfortable around friendly office dog and the occasional grandchild.
