The Associate Director, Global Marketing Vutrisiran and Onpattro will drive the global brand strategy directed at healthcare professionals. This includes acting as the global marketing lead for vutrisiran, our next generation TTR program, and indication expansion for Onpattro. This is a highly visible role and this individual will set the stage for successful commercialization and future growth of the TTR global commercial team.
The position will report to the Senior Director, Global Brand Marketing and is located in Cambridge, MA.
Summary of Key Responsibilities
Drive the development and execution of a global brand strategic framework, positioning and core materials supporting the launch of vutrisiran and indication expansion for Onpattro.
Drive the execution of global TTR franchise positioning based on deep market and customer insights and competitive intelligence
Be the commercial lead on the development of Alnylam’s first pre-filled syringe program.
Partner with regional marketing teams to optimize the ONPATTRO global brand campaign and message, as well as ensure global brand consistency.
Align with the digital center of excellence to ensure strategic coordination across the brand and digital strategies.
Align with corporate communications to ensure strategic coordination across the global brand and corporate communication strategies.
Provide effective management of global marketing operational budget
Partner with key internal stakeholders and regions (medical affairs, regional marketing, launch excellence, customer insights, training, market access, legal and regulatory) to ensure alignment across functions and flawless, compliant execution.
BS/BA degree (science degree preferred) with a minimum of 7 years in the biotech industry.
5+ years of proven experience in professional marketing and/or brand planning/marketing.
Launch experience and commercialization of new products preferred.
In-line brand management experience required.
Global and local marketing experience preferred.
Experience in rare disease strongly preferred.
Excellent written and communication skills.
Proven ability to influence without authority and work with cross-functional teams in the development and delivery of brand strategic imperatives.
Proven ability in managing external agencies and vendors
Proven Project / Program Management experience.
