## Overview
We are seeking a skilled Financial Controller to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing all financial activities, ensuring compliance with accounting regulations, and providing strategic financial guidance to the organization.
## Responsibilities
- Manage all aspects of financial reporting and analysis
- Oversee budgeting and forecasting processes
- Ensure compliance with SOX and other regulatory requirements
- Conduct cash management activities
- Perform general ledger reconciliation and balance sheet reconciliation
- Handle technical accounting matters
- Prepare and analyze financial statements
- Write financial reports for internal and external stakeholders
## Skills
### Required Skills:
- Proficiency in financial software applications
- Strong knowledge of debits, credits, and accounting principles
- Experience in governmental accounting practices
### Nice-to-Have Skills:
- Familiarity with QuickBooks software
- Expertise in financial report writing
