- Earned Value Management
THOR Solutions, LLC is seeking a Program/Project Manager II to provide support to Naval Surface Warfare Center, Philadelphia Division (NSWCPD). The Program/Project Manager II will be performing programmatic and administrative activities such as Earned Value Management analysis and Master Scheduler support associated with the business operations for testing and evaluation of new systems.
Utilize Earned Value Management (EVM) and Earned Value Project/Performance Management (EVPM) techniques to support Major Defense Acquisition Category (ACAT) I/II Level Programs.
Capture, track, document, and analyze individual projects and overall program.
Coordinate and support progress meetings including developing, updating, and maintaining EVM tracking and metrics including tracking project financial data, project schedule, action items, installation status and delays.
Serve as Master Scheduler by arranging, managing, and optimizing program work and workloads; developing timetables for projects, tests, and milestones; maintain Integrated Master Schedule (IMS); communicate critical path, program schedule, and funding changes.
Security Clearance Requirement:
Must have an Active SECRET Clearance
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Engineering, or Business.
12+ years of demonstrated experience as a Program Manager supporting Navy technical programs with demonstrated experience using Earned Value Management principles is required.
Proficiency with use of Oracle Primavera or similar project management/scheduling software is required.
Demonstrated experience in project scheduling, planning, project control, and project progress tracking is required.
PMP is a plus but not required.
Travel may be required 2-4 times a year
