Essential Duties: Under general supervision, performs a variety of administrative duties relating to personnel functions and programs including but not limited to onboarding, benefits management, personnel records and retention, workers compensation, rights and responsibilities under FMLA.Provide confidential administrative support to the human resources departmentAssists HR Manager with matters related to collective bargaining. Must possess general knowledge of collective bargaining agreements, and achieve familiarity with all CBAs in the DistrictProvide oversight to accounting and payroll functions as it pertains to personnel Responsible for reconciling HR database with Accounting/Payroll records Create and maintain system of checks and balances with insurances and vendor billing records including tracking and reconciliation of funding sourcesWork directly with MTRS and PCR managing and updating retiree deductionsResponsible for data entry into various software programs Read, understand, and review documents for accuracy and relevant informationPrioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously; follow through on issues in a timely mannerMaintains employee personnel files and records to ensure timely and accurate recordsProvide customer service, both in-person and by telephone; screen and direct telephone calls; answer questions from employees and retirees while demonstrating a high level of professionalism and confidentialityComply with and enforce established safety and security protocols for Central Office.All other duties as assigned by the Superintendent
