Accurately determines coordination of benefits; verifies Medicare, Medicaid and other third party payors through systems available, reviews for completeness and accuracy of patient’s demographics and financial information and enters into the Allscripts system, ensures that financial classes are correctly entered into both demographics and charges.
High school diploma required or GED. College preferred. Comprehensive knowledge of third party insurance billing policies and procedures and previous billing experience required.
Excellent communication and organizational skills. Minimum of two years related work experience.
Familiarity with Microsoft Access, Excel and Word preferred.
