Responsibilities Include:
- Manage and administer human resource programs including, but not limited to, payroll, benefits, employee relations, recognition, absence management and talent management.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for employees’ questions and concerns on all HR related matters. Conduct investigations, providing guidance and resolution in collaboration with management.
- Coordinate and facilitate all aspects of internal employee onboarding, orientation and offboarding processes.
- Performs benefit and leave administration according to policies, plans and laws.
- Develop, update and implement company policies and practices to ensure knowledge of and compliance with Federal, State, local and industry specific employment laws and regulations.
- Maintain the internal HRIS database and employee records, ensuring confidentiality and data integrity. Conduct HR data reporting and analytics to support go-forward priorities and initiatives.
- Partner with the Sr HR Director and actively contribute to strategic planning to understand and execute the organization's human resource and talent strategy.
- Lead and/or provide significant support to HR projects and initiatives to improve processes, enhance employee engagement and increase organizational effectiveness.
Qualifications/Skills Needed to Succeed:
- Bi-Lingual in English and Spanish is required
- Minimum of 2-4 years proven experience in Human Resource with a solid understanding of HR practices and employment laws.
- Bachelor's degree in human resources or related field and/or equivalent experience. Knowledge of the Staffing Industry a plus!
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to interact effectively at all levels of the organization.
- Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and time management abilities.
- Ability to handle multiple priorities and work independently with minimal supervision.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office or Google Suite; experience with HRIS systems is a plus.
