Job Summary:
Under the direction of the Director of Business Development, the Business Development Coordinator is responsible for the design and implementation of a comprehensive and highly targeted Pine belt area sales and marketing plan for Pine Grove’s treatment programs. Specifically, this position is responsible for arranging and conducting direct sales calls and providing appropriate follow-up as necessary; attending local, regional, and statewide conferences as assigned by the Director of Business Development, and following up with a specific plan of action for each conference. Conducts and arranges tours for area referents and on-site visitors, plans lunch and learns, continuing education events, and other outreach activities to promote Pine Grove’s treatment services. This position includes a specific focus on supporting Pine Grove’s treatment programs within the Pine belt region. This includes working with area school districts, health care providers, and other professionals to educate them about Pine Grove’s treatment programs. This includes all Pine Grove service lines, with a concentration in the organization’s inpatient and outpatient services for children and adolescents. Additionally, this position documents all referral related activity as assigned within the department’s database and assists in the development of the department’s marketing strategy. This position also carries out additional duties as assigned by the Director of Business Development and reports all work related progress in a timely manner to the Director.

- Demonstrates the ability to cultivate new markets for Pine Grove and maintain existing markets effectively.
- Demonstrates the ability to work effectively with Pine Grove staff members as part of the Business Development team.
Qualifications:
Education/Skills
Bachelor’s degree in marketing/public relations/counseling/therapy/related field required. A Master’s degree is preferred.
Work Experience:
Five years of related marketing, public relations, or health care experience is required; behavioral health care experience is preferred. Health care experience within the Pine belt region is preferred.
Mental Demands:
Includes travel and the ability to work effectively throughout the year. The employee must work to meet the demands of Pine Grove’s census goals.
