Junior Business Analyst

Med Source seeks to fill our first Business Analyst (BA) position in conjunction with our preparation to implement new software systems and transition to data-driven management. Applicant selected for this position will spend their first six months to one year working in several different departments at the Med Source Southfield offices as a "floater". The intention of this rotation format is for the applicant to gain familiarity with records management, clinical operations, scheduling, administration, quality assurance, and marketing. During this initial year of training, the firm plans to adopt new technology, and the BA will evolve into an internal support person dedicated to assisting staff at all levels through their daily challenges with new and existing technology systems, including training, troubleshooting, and report development. During and after the initial training period the chosen applicant may be called upon to "fill in" in any department to gain and maintain front-line experience. This is a high accountability position where the chosen applicant will interact with (but not supervise) all levels of staff, as well as clients and vendors. Long-term opportunities in sales/marketing and administration exist for the applicant that delivers value by enabling their coworkers to function at their best.

Requirements:

  • Full-time on-site position requiring minimal travel and some night and weekend work
  • Must be an experienced Google-suite user (Gmail, Sheets, Docs, Drive)
  • Must be an experienced Microsoft Office user (Word, Excel, Powerpoint)
  • Must be physically able to carry and move desktop computers and laptops, including crawling under desks occasionally
  • Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills in American English

Preferences:

  • Bachelor's degree in business, accounting, marketing, psychology, nursing, physical sciences, etc.
  • Veterans who have been honorably discharged
  • Existing or previous employees of an IME company
  • Previous work in customer service, client relations, premium retail, call-center, or B2B sales
