Acts is currently seeking a qualified candidate for the Vice President of Dining and Wellness Services.
The Vice President of Dining & Wellness Services must be an effective leader and is responsible for developing and leading the execution of exceptional business standards with regard to hospitality services, guest experience, operations, talent development, and financial performance.
In working collaboratively with cross-functional teams, this executive will lead the integrated strategic direction of culinary, dining and nutrition services and related efforts to meet resident needs, achieve a high level of resident satisfaction, meet and exceed applicable regulations and generate enhanced programs and revenues. This role will also oversee and coordinate the resident wellness program.
A few of the responsibilities include:
Leads, develops and implements Culinary and Hospitality strategies that deliver products and services to meet or exceed the needs and expectations of Residents and Guests keeping an eye toward the most relevant issues in nutrition, wellness, taste and hospitality
Effectively communicates culinary innovation across the organization, enhancing resident satisfaction, building relationships and relaying department and organizational objectives
Directs and implements performance improvement programs that meet state and federal requirements, determines needed improvements, nurtures performance improvement activities and results in meeting or exceeding measurement standards such as survey requirements, internal audit standards, CARF-CCAC accreditation, Acts Policies and Procedures and appropriate industry satisfaction levels
Maintains senior management focus of resident and guest satisfaction in Dining, Nutrition and Wellness Services through the provision of an effective training program
Education Level: Bachelor’s Degree required; Master’s Degree in Business Administration, Hotel/Restaurant or Hospitality Management, Food & Nutrition Services or Culinary Arts highly preferred.
Years of Relevant Work Experience: Industry Experience: 10+ years of progressively responsible leadership positions in culinary services and professional experience in a highly creative product development environment including kitchen management and culinary (i.e. chef) experience, Hospitality and Services industry.
