Position Overview:
We’re searching for an experienced leader to oversee the day-to-day operations, budgeting, financial management and personnel activities of the Food and Nutrition Services and Diabetes Education Program. This includes establishing, meeting and continuously monitoring the goals and objectives while maintaining alignment with the strategic goals and objectives for Glens Falls Hospital.
The Director works closely with a variety of stakeholders, coordinating the activities of Food and Nutrition services across the organization. The Director serves as the programmatic and operational leader and is responsible to the Vice President, Clinical Services as well as works closely with GFH Health employees and leaders.
Requirements:
* Master’s in Nutrition, Dietetics, Nutrition Education or similar subject from an accredited institution
* 10 years of relevant experience in a healthcare setting
* Demonstrated leadership and management skills
* Registered Dietitian by the Commission of Dietetic Registration desired
* Master’s in Business Administration with food management and clinical experience in a hospital setting preferred
