Customers Bank has an immediate opening for a Specialty Lending Documentation Specialist in our Commercial Loan Documentation Department, working directly and succinctly with the Loan Administration team. As a Specialty Lending Documentation Specialist, you will be responsible for preparing and reviewing LaserPro Loan Documents for new loans, renewals, and modifications. Of high importance in this role is an ability to effectively understand and utilize technology in your daily work environment.
Responsibilities

Help prepare and review Loan Documents in coordination with our Specialized Financing and Funds Finance teams.

Work with Agent Banks and Lead Banks in finalizing Loan Documentation

Work closely with attorneys through the loan documentation preparation and closing process

Work with our internal Loan Participations/Syndications team to transfer the information for booking to our core

Prepare wires and initiate Funding accordingly

Working closely with Loan Officers on assigned loans

Work with a potential pre-closing team both internally and externally on loan originations

Create the Loan Documentation Closing File with all supporting documentation for On-Boarding and Scanning

Prepare and Monitor Exception Report for updates as loan officers resolve issues

Assist in developing policies and procedures

Preparing Closing Checklists and partnering with Lender to ensure all requirements are satisfactory
Qualifications & experience

3-5 years of Commercial Documentation Specialist with experience using a documentation program (LaserPro strongly preferred)

Work related experience should consist of Specialized Lending Products (Note on Note Financing, Participations)

Experience with other lines of business is preferred. (Line of Credit, Term Loans, Time Notes, Construction Loans, Commercial Mortgage, Letters of Credit)

Paralegal with Banking Experience (strongly preferred – not required)

Working knowledge of the nCino system (strongly preferred – not required)

Individual familiar with corporate structures and real estate

The ability to work independently as well as with a team

Organized and detail oriented, with excellent written and oral communication skills

Ability to work 40 hours a week with additional hours when needed. Potential late hours on last day of the month and year.
