Pure Search are working with an EU Headquartered FTSE100 business who are looking for a talented Tax Manager to join their team.
This is an excellent opportunity to join a globally-renowned company and to be in charge of a full division. You will also have the opportunity to be a key figure in the implementation of new software and processes.
Duties;
- You will be in charge of the corporate tax compliance process including the collection of relevant tax package information
- Ensuring compliance with tax laws across all jurisdictions with assistance from external tax advisors
- Oversee outsourced corporate income tax compliance to ensure accurate and timely tax filings
- Handle tax correspondence, audits, and inquiries from tax authorities and prepare quarterly estimates, filings, and payments
- Improve processes by proactively streamlining procedures and reporting
- Calculate provisions and prepare work papers/schedules
- Coordinate with external auditors on tax charge, assets, and liabilities for interim and year-end reporting
- Ensure correct tax accounting in individual entity accounts, including reconciliations
- Foster internal relationships to partner with the business and demonstrate business knowledge
- Monitor legislative changes and their business impact and offer tax advice related to commercial activities
- Uphold compliance with Group tax strategy and policies
- Undertake ad-hoc tax projects as necessary
Requirements;
- Minimum Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting or related field of study. Prefer Masters in Taxation or equivalent.
- At least 4 years of experience in Tax experience in public or private industry
