- Responsible for promoting and growing adult and pediatric specialty service lines as assigned via execution of vendor booths, community activity, programs, and lectures based on national safety/injury prevention needs surveys for pediatric services and county needs assessment for population health within target markets that span from North Dade to Palm Beach Counties. Fosters community partnerships and collaborates, conceptualize new opportunities to meet the needs of the community (population health) and Memorials needs throughout the system.
1. Service Line Growth
Increase brand awareness and community engagement for current priority adult and/or pediatric service lines. Co-lead of Community Engagement meetings with Business Development Directors for assigned service lines and collaboratively develop brand exposure and community engagement for growth.
2. Foster community partnerships
Attends Chambers and public, private organization activities as representative of Memorial Healthcare System within the target markets and build community partnerships. Foster relationships with key community leaders and civic organizations. Collaborate with partners to develop events and programs to promote service lines and population health.
3. National Awareness Program
Conceptualizes, plans, executes and supervises events aligned with weekly/monthly disease awareness dates throughout the year taking into consideration population health needs for service lines.
4. Corporate Wellness
Responsible for developing and growing community and corporate partnerships to develop and execute corporate employee wellness programs with a population health focus. Coordinate screenings for corporate wellness program and assist with access to healthcare.
5. Speakers Bureau
Coordinates Speakers Bureau, increase registered speakers, topics and engagements. Continuously monitors program to maximize service line growth and supervises execution thereof. Assists physicians with speaking engagements.
6. Tracking and Performance Reporting
Accurately tracks and documents each program by key Performance Indicators and assign an event rating. Elevate tracking involved for Speakers Bureau, including distributing survey and calculating results for each speaking engagement. Create monthly presentation based on self-reported monthly statistics for the creation of the Quarterly Board of Directors community meeting.
Licensure, Certification and Registration:
Required to obtain CPR certification within 6 months of employment. May be required to obtain child safety seat technician certification after employment.
Complexity of Work:
Must be able to handle a multitude of detailed projects/events simultaneously, each requiring different details and planning stages. Work requires performing duties in business offices, hospitals, outdoor settings and other settings that may result in exposure to sun, rain and heat and other elements.
Highly skilled with Microsoft Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, Power Point) and electronic systems utilized in training and conference rooms.
Must be able to work in a stressful and fast-pace environment.
Must possess excellent interpersonal and public speaking skills as well as business etiquette.
Must be able to exercise creativity, initiative, judgment, discretion and decision making.
Drive larger vehicles.
Required Work Experience:
3 years experience in health care, community relations, population health, marketing, business development, public relations or related field.
