Job Overview The Apps/Multimedia Test group designs, develops, debugs and runs test automation software to verify a broad array of multimedia applications on our ASIC products. You will interact in a team environment with other test automation developers and with Qualcomm ASIC embedded software developers. The role requires to develop test cases, test automation and on device test execution, accurate test reporting. Responsibility include:
Gather requirements, design, implement and test industry-leading technology features
Debug test cases that fail in regression and/or demo
Develop test strategies for verification and commercial launch of multimedia and Display software including various interfaces such as DisplayPort, HDMI, DSI, various system features such as HDR, pixel post processing.
Design, develop and deploy test plans, test frameworks and test automation software
Collaborate with multimedia technology teams to leverage common test methods and frameworks

Minimum Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field.
Preferred Qualifications
Display standards such as DSI, HDMI, DisplayPort, multimedia applications (Media player, Camera, Games, UI interfaces)Test experience (a strong understanding of test methodology), understanding of the software development cycle, and experience with wireless test equipment or telecommunications systems
C/C++/Java programming language expertise
Python or Perl programming languages expertise
Background in test/validation with experience in software development
Communication skills, be an effective team player and be able to work independently
Flexibility in work assignments and thoroughness in project management are crucial

Education Requirements Required: Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field.
Preferred: Masters Or Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field.
