Aris Water moves water using poly pipe, lay flat, and pipeline systems from water sources to customers and owned frac ponds. Water Transfer operators work with crews responsible for rigging up, operating, and rigging down transfer jobs. Their work is laborious and performed outdoors in all types of conditions.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Laying and picking up poly line, lay flat hose, setting/ swapping pumps, and other equipment for water transfer jobs.
- Loading and unloading hose, caliche, and equipment onto trailers and trucks for safe transportation to location.
- Observing transfer pump operations, gauges, transfer lines, and adjusting controls to maintain target rates and safe workplace.
- Requesting service for pumps and generators at job sites.
- Following all safety procedures and using proper PPE as required per job task.
- Communicate to other employees, foremen, and managers on equipment and help needed on jobs.
- Using hand and power tools to complete rig up jobs.
- Driving work trucks to deliver equipment and personnel to and from job sites.
- Attending and completing safety classes per company policies.
- Other duties as assigned
Education and Qualifications
- High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent
- Must be able to pass a background check.
- Must have a clean driving record.
- Possess outstanding organizational and time management skills.
- Must be detail oriented.
- Must have excellent oral and written communications skills.
- Able to work in a team environment.
- Experience in water transfer a plus.
- Knowledge of relevant equipment, policies, and safety procedures.
- Knowledge of machines and tools, including their designs, uses, repair, and maintenance.
Physical Requirements
- Ascending or descending ladders, stairs, ramps and the like regularly
- Moving about to accomplish tasks or moving from one worksite to another regularly.
- Operating motor vehicles and or heavy equipment.
- Heavy work that includes moving objects up to 50 pounds or more.
- Outdoor elements such as precipitation, wind, high, and low temperatures regularly.
- May regularly work in noisy and/or hazardous environments.
