Position Overview
The PCM I role is a proactive leadership role that is responsible for all project services functions and resources in the project. The PCM I should bring an assurance to the company that the project meets the requirements of cost and schedule utilizing Project Controls best practices. This position serves as single point of contact for the Director of project Services, reporting operationally to the Project Manager or Sr. PCM.

Responsibilities may include:
Review all commercial activities of a project, or operation, and the facilitation of such activity to ensure compliance is achieved.
Supports the development of the Project Controls execution Plan for the project and leads the Project Setup process in the Cost Control System.
Responsible for Cost Forecast (LOP) and schedule in the project.
Interacts with Engineering and PMT teams to make sure all changes are captured and processed.
Participates in Change order negotiations with Clients and estimates change order scenarios.
Supports internal and external audits, and project quality activities.
Support contract manager with the interpretation of T&Cs.
Guarantees the proper execution of Project Close-out.
Position Qualifications

Legally authorized to work in the job posting country
Bachelor’s Degree Required in Business, Engineering, Procurement, Operations or related field or relevant job experience. Technical background a plus
+10 progressive experience in project controls, planning, cost or engineering, project/product planning
Planning and Planning tools knowledge (Primavera, MS Project)
Proven experience in Risk management, and risk management processes
Ability to work in a team environment using effective communication
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Strong written and verbal communication skills in English are important
Ability to give and receive constructive feedback and coaching, and respond appropriately
Must have strong computer skills and strong skills using MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project, and Visio
Willingness to develop an understanding of the communication process and ensures effectiveness (written, verbal and listening) across functional and managerial boundaries.

Work Environment
Spend 100% time in an office environment.

Physical Demands
Office environment requires sitting, operating a computer, walking and some lifting. Hands-on labor in shop and/or field environment, which requires lifting, walking, stooping, bending, and some climbing.
