S&D Coffee & Tea is currently seeking a Regional Manager. This individual will manage the routes and day to day functions of the region and be responsible for overall performance of the region including, budget and P&L statements. This position will report to the Division Sales Manager and have the following direct reports where applicable: Region Supervisor(s), Route Tech Support staff, Route Sales Representative staff and Warehouse staff.

Primary Job Responsibilities:
Manage region employees to assure maximum performance and productivity, conducting coaching and disciplinary meetings as needed, as well as annual performance evaluations on all region staff members.
Oversee region personnel training, and development of strategies for account retention and penetration
Achieve profitable sales to new accounts in all route territories.
Train Route Sales Representatives on how to make sales calls and how to develop sales leads.
Establish overall productivity measure to keep track of each Route Sales Representatives progress.
Responsible for product knowledge training for Route Sales Representatives.
Will increase customer sales base by adding products or product lines to every customer we serve.
Ensure Route Sales Representatives have sales plans to present allied products, carry appropriate products on trucks, have ongoing training about products and product knowledge, acquaint customers with every item we sell.
Responsible for continuous relationship-building with all customers; to include follow up with lost accounts.
Will be expected to meet operational goals.
Responsible for the housekeeping and maintenance of all region vehicles.
Other duties as assigned by management.
Previous experience in distribution and/or foodservice.
Familiarity with P&L Statements.
Excellent written & verbal communication skills.
Basic computer knowledge.
Self-directed individual.
Ability to prioritize and multi-task.
Experience in coffee industry preferred.
Customer service oriented.
Collection experience helpful.
Product and equipment knowledge.
Mechanically inclined.
Previous route experience desired.
Three to five (3-5) years previous supervisory experience preferred.
Excellent analytical and business decision making skills.
Good driving record.
