What You Will Do

The Talent Stewardship Program Manager advises and facilitates enterprise wide performance and succession management programs and reports on related analytics required to build leadership's knowledge of performance progress and issues enterprise wide. You will create new and deploy talent programs for maximum value added to the learning experience to meet organizational needs. You will determine and utilize appropriate metrics to ensure a talent assessment and development strategy to align the workforce with business and strategic goals. As needed, create scalable programs to address ministry specific needs (with the mind-set that it may be applied in the future).

In this position, you will:
Identify and facilitate development and deployment of best in class talent and succession management programs.
Collaborates with leaders across the enterprise to align workforce strategies and recommends talent strategies to increase the talent readiness and capabilities of the workforce aligned with strategic objectives.
Enable deployment of market talent review and development activities, including ensuring follow-up on the activities identified through the reviews.
Serve as consultant to management by identifying talent development opportunities.
Develop and deploy talent programs to address targeted talent challenges in a way that creates a competitive advantage for Ascension.
Enable HR and operational leaders to leverage enterprise wide talent development processes to address market needs & drive talent development activities.
Collaborates with the Workforce Planning Consultant and Workforce Analytics Consultant to annually review & update workforce strategy and determine appropriate metrics to provide accurate decision support for workforce alignment with business and strategic goals.
Partner with the Workforce Planning Consultant and Workforce Analytics Consultant, to select appropriate metrics to proactively assess, manage & mitigate workforce related risks such as skills shortage, aging demographics and turnover as well as internal organization shifts.
Link goals to business and organizational results and develop reports and dashboards to support business needs
Provide input into performance management (PM) technology and structure and manages talent vendor relationships.
Leverage workforce analytics to develop data-driven insights based on the integration of talent and business metrics to align talent strategies that link performance to culture and Model Community Consultative in approach; looks for root cause and executes based on business needs to assist in creating solutions to specific issues.
Facilitate the standardization of talent management plans, processes, systems functionality, and technology across Ascension. Identifies and shares best practices across the enterprise.
Partner with Learning and Development Consultants, Compensation Consultants, and Recruitment Consultants to enhance the integration of talent, learning, and recruitment processes and systems aligned to strategic objectives and Model Community.

What you will need:
Bachelor’s degree required in Human Resources or Business - related field, Master's preferred

Work Experience:
5-7 years of experience in related field, with experience deploying large scale systemic programs.
Experience working in a large organizations and healthcare preferred.
3 years of experience leading, project teams or initiatives preferred.
