Summary: Oversees tactical marketing programs within the Urology/Oncology BU.
Contribute to the strategic development and brand planning process for the Urology/Oncology Brand
Responsible for tactical execution of brands personal and non-personal promotion to Providers, Patients, and Caregivers within the Urology/Oncology Therapeutic area
Ensure projects are launched on-time and within budget for flawless execution
Review & Negotiate SOW’s and MSA’s
Presents Brand plan to Sr. Management
Can develop forecasts, manage budget, and analyze market trends to provide recommendations
Lead cross-functional teams on specific tactics and initiatives to ensure alignment and proper execution and pull-through
Act as primary contact for third parties to ensure projects are delivered within specifications
Select vendors for assigned projects, review proposals, and ensure contract negotiation
Can clearly represent the Marketing team communicating clear goals and objectives to ensure alignment and buy-in within teams
Ability to problem solve and identify innovative approaches and opportunities
Align creative execution and messaging that is in line with the brand platform
Support the brand planning process and ensure the brand strategy is translated into effective tactics
Consistently evaluate tactics and cross-functional team goals to
Provide insight and input into brand strategy
Promotional Campaigns and Project Management
Develop and implement promotional projects within budget and time-lines
Initiate tactics and sales materials in line with overall brand objectives
Develop promotional communications for KOL”s Peer-to-peer, speaker training, symposia
Evaluate and strategically select conventions
Measure tactic success
Work closely with field force to roll-out tactics and materials throughout the year
Develop sales meeting presentations and provide guidance to training for workshop, to deliver at meetings and on conference calls as well as field communications regarding campaigns and materials
Takes ownership for key costumers of the brand
Represent the company at industry seminars, conferences and congresses
Collaborations within Ferring
Collaborate with Global Marketing and other entities of the Americas
Bachelor’s degree, preferably in marketing or life sciences
2-3years experience in Marketing within the pharmaceutical or biotech industry preferred
2 year experience as a manager within the pharmaceutical or biotech industry preferred
Previous sales experience a plus
Demonstrated ability to successfully collaborate with teams and flawlessly execute tactics
Excellent project management skills and ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines required
Marketing experience in marketing strategy, product positioning, pricing, budgeting, forecasting, marketing research professional education, advertising and sales deployment.
Strong analytical skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to communicate effectively with all levels of management
Understanding of Legal, medical, Regulatory review process and ability to effectively represent the marketing team
Ability to travel 25-35%
Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
