Basic Function:

  • The Clinical Imaging Supervisor will work with the Nurse Manager of Interventional Radiology (IR) and Radiology Observation Care Unit (ROCU) as part of that leadership team
  • Provides operational leadership to the IR and ROCU so that daily activities within assigned departments are performed
  • Maintains compliance with all departmental quality and regulatory standards
  • Develops and maintains quality assurance and performance improvement for the department
  • Provides support as Special Procedures Technologist during non-administrative working days

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Minimum Education: Graduate of a 2 year AMA approved school of Radiologic Technology
  • Minimum Years of Experience: 3 years’ experience in imaging or other critical care supervisory or management role plus 2 years’ experience as a Special Procedures Technologist
  • Required Certifications/Licensure: Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) (R); Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) (VI) in Vascular-Interventional Radiology or must become certified within two years of being hired
  • Current South Carolina Radiation Quality Standards Association (SCRQSA) current license
  • Required Training: None
