The Team

You'll be a part of Immuta's Special Programs team - a group of talented software and DevOps engineers. Our engineers have experience in systems automation, full stack software engineering, and data analysis. This team's primary mission is customer success. Its members work with Immuta's software, other cutting edge technologies, and end customers to ensure they derive exceptional value from their data.

Your Role

As an Immuta Software Engineer, you'll work directly with our customers to ensure they can leverage their data through Immuta. This entails building software integrations with customer applications and databases, assisting customers with data analysis, and rapidly developing product add-ons to meet customer needs. Additionally, you will solve complex customer problems when integrating our product into unique customer infrastructures and assisting with customer best practices.

You'll also work on-site with our customers and will be responsible for the integration, implementation, and improvement of product deployment and monitoring processes. You'll work closely with our other teams to coordinate the use of DevOps methodologies and develop tools in support of those teams.

We Value

  • Experience designing and implementing secure distributed systems
  • Experience developing systems that interact with external web services/APIs
  • Experience with Databases: Relational (ODBC), and NoSQL
  • Experience with Big Data Frameworks: HDFS, Spark
  • Experience with containerization leveraging Docker, Kubernetes, Mesos, etc.
  • Automated Systems Management Expertise: Puppet, Chef, Salt
  • Software Packaging Proficiency: RPM, deb, Python module, Docker
  • Network stack and firewall knowledge
  • Experience integrating with various infrastructure technologies: AWS, Azure, GCS, bare metal, VMWare
  • Network design skills
