CleanChoice Energy seeks a dynamic, driven and detail-oriented Marketing Manager to help build our brand and customer base through the effective management of door to door, telemarketing, and tabling channels. This is an exciting opportunity for the right person, to help build a different kind of energy company — one that believes in renewable energy and shares the values of our customers. The right candidate has vendor management experience, preferably with telemarketing, tabling and door-to-door vendors. Day-to-day work could range from standing up new sales channels to training call representatives for new marketing campaigns in support of our retail supply, community solar and commercial products. This position will report to the Director of Acquisition Marketing.
Achieve sales goals by initiating and managing telemarketing, tabling, door-to- door and vendors
Vendor contracting, training, quality control and sales attainment
Adhere to Federal, State and Company regulations and guidelines
Manage multiple projects simultaneously with excellent time management skills
Achieving channel sales goals
Designing and implementing new sales and marketing programs to reach acquisition targets
Setting objectives, establishing/tracking metrics, and interpreting results in order to efficiently acquire new customers
Managing outbound telemarketing, tabling and door-to- door programs
Training and overseeing quality of direct sales programs
Managing budgets and taking appropriate action based on program results or any other identified trends or issues
Identify and obtain stakeholder buy in and successfully implement programs aligned with the organization’s vision and departmental goals
Developing scripts, incentive programs and sales compensation structure for direct sales vendors and representatives
Creating marketing materials which meet all organization standards
Understanding and conducting competitive analysis of the energy market
Developing strong, productive relationships with coworkers and vendors
Other duties as assigned
Qualifications and Skills
3-5 years experience in a sales or marketing role with experience in direct sales and vendor management
Excellent time and project management skills, able to manage multiple projects with varying schedules simultaneously
Demonstrated success in developing and implementing marketing, sales, and communication plans that have generated results while building/enhancing brand image
Knowledge of events and trends that affect purchase attitudes, needs, behaviors and brand relationships
Experience developing positive and productive vendor relationships
Experience executing, producing, measuring and improving marketing programs
Ability to oversee, interpret and effectively utilize market research and program results data
Experience in outbound and inbound telemarketing, door-to- door and tabling channels
Experience with Salesforce and Five9 or a similar cloud-based predictive dialer
Excellent presentation as well as written and verbal communication skills
Attention to detail and ability to think strategically and creatively
Utility category experience helpful but not required
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
Ability to travel
