Full Job Description
Provide direction, expertise, and support to business units on a specific human resources function, including benefits, employee relations, compliance, and recruiting. Apply advanced consulting skills, extensive technical expertise, and full industry knowledge and develop innovative solutions to complex problems. Work without considerable direction and mentor and supervise team members and provide military support, including manpower, personnel, staffing, recruiting, onboarding and out-processing, and award coordination for each of the four military services. Coordinate all Agency-wide performance appraisal efforts, including military and civilian, coordinating all award and certificate materials, and managing the Fourth Estate Personnel Accountability and Assessment System (FEPAAS). Coordinate with OSD Military Personnel, AT&L Admin, Joint Staff J-1 (JOM), and Service Manpower points of contact for career information and promotion matters. Handle assignment extensions, retirement requests, and individual preparation for promotion, command selection, and Joint PME attendance. Perform data analysis for FEPAAS, including required data auditing, administrative training, system testing, and marketing material production.
15+ years of experience with HR administrative tasks
Experience working with others across all levels, including senior leaders, such as GS-15 or SES
Experience in the DoD
Knowledge of OPM, USG, DoD hiring laws, rule, regulations, and requirements
Ability to prioritize tasks and work in a dynamic team environment
BA or BS degree
10+ years of experience with supporting military or DoD HR activities
Knowledge of FEPAAS
Knowledge of military appraisal systems
Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills
