Great Lakes Custom Builder is a residential home builder in Troy, MI and is seeking a full-time Administrative Assistant. The administrative assistant will perform routine clerical and administrative functions such as answering phones, drafting correspondence, organizing and maintaining paper and electronic files and providing information to contractors / suppliers. Additional duties may include assisting with ordering materials, book keeping, city permits, and purchase orders.

Candidate will be primarily responsible for:

  • Strong Organizational and communications skills
  • Maintains all administrative functions of the Office
  • Answers incoming calls and greets all visitors
  • Book Keeping
  • Complete forms in accordance with company procedures.
  • Make copies and file paperwork

An ideal candidate would possess: 2+ years of experience in similar role

  • Experience and proficiency in quick books
  • Must be dependable, organized, self-motivated and goal oriented
  • Work independently while maintaining a team player attitude, reliable, and trustworthy
  • Attention to details
  • Strong communication skills - written and verbalAbility to handle multiple priorities
  • Computer knowledge and efficiency, including
  • Microsoft Office
