A Role with Purpose and Impact
As a Instructional Designer, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of healthcare education within our organization. Your expertise and dedication will ensure that our staff is equipped with the knowledge and skills needed to excel in their roles and provide the best care possible to our patients.
Key Responsibilities
- Curriculum Development: Plan, develop, and maintain course curricula and training materials for primary and secondary ITS applications.
- Training Environment Management: Build, test, and maintain the training environment; ensure policy and procedure documentation is up-to-date.
- Staff Training: Conduct training for new staff and coordinate training for software upgrades and updates.
- Training Oversight: Oversee the build, test, and maintenance of the training environment by Principal Trainer Is.
- Schedule Coordination: Assist in developing, communicating, and coordinating training schedules for managers and end-users.
- Project Support: Be a change agent and advocate for Epic implementation, supporting and motivating the Epic Team.
- Virtual Training: Develop virtual training documentation to support remote learning.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor's degree in a related field required; Master's degree preferred.
- Experience: Minimum of three years in adult education, instructional design, or healthcare. Clinical experience is a plus. Registered Nurse with Epic experience highly preferred.
- Licensure: Certification in primary ITS application with proficiency in a secondary application. Ongoing certification maintenance is required.
- Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel, strong people skills, effective verbal and written communication, and organizational skills. Ability to work across organizations and audiences with change leadership experience is preferred.
