Use your energy and drive to help us hire the best and the brightest for Ping Identity! This position will be responsible for delivering all facets of recruiting success throughout the organization. This will be achieved through the development of local and national recruiting plans, employing traditional sourcing strategies and resources as well as developing new, creative recruiting ideas. Will work as a business partner with client groups and be responsible for managing those groups.
Establishes recruiting requirements by studying organization plans and objectives; meeting with managers to discuss needs.
Builds applicant sources by researching and contacting community services, colleges, employment agencies, recruiters, media, and internet sites; providing organization information, opportunities, and benefits; making presentations; maintaining rapport.
Determines applicant requirements by studying job description and job qualifications.
Determines applicant qualifications by interviewing applicants; analyzing responses; verifying references; comparing qualifications to job requirements.
Evaluates applicants by discussing job requirements and applicant qualifications with managers; interviewing applicants on consistent set of qualifications.
Avoids legal challenges by understanding current legislation; enforcing regulations with managers; recommending new procedures; conducting training.
Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications; maintaining personal networks; participating in professional organizations.
Understanding the functional breakdown of an organization.
Must have technical recruiting experience; preferably in the software industry
5+ years recruiting experience for individual and managerial level.
The ability to identify qualified candidates for various projects, contacting them through cold calling and capturing their interest.
A proven track record of successfully sourcing hard-to-find candidates
Experience using staffing systems and tools including applicant tracking systems, the internet, job boards and imagination .
Technical recruiting experience including recruiting Software Developers and QA Engineers.
Strong verbal communication skills, including interviewing, selling, influencing, negotiating and collaborating.
Strong project management skills, including planning for and tracking recruiting metrics.
Proven knowledge and expertise in all sourcing methods including using recruiting research, cold calling, warm calling and internet recruiting.
Bachelors Degree or equivalent experience.
Develop and implement strategic initiatives for recruiting diverse talent in a multi-site organization.
Partner with college/university leaders to develop plans for key staffing initiatives.
Work closely with Hiring Managers to maximize effectiveness of recruiting process.
Track and report key metrics designed to measure and predict staffing activity.
Actively participate in all staffing related activities and engage in cross functional projects.
Develop and execute a personal time management plan.
