WPA seeks a warm, engaging, talented clinician to step in to a contracting role to conduct a variety of psychological assessments. Schedule is very flexible. Compensation is highly competitive and not based on the standard job share model. The position will remain open until filled by the right person.

The ideal candidate has impeccable character, excellent core assessment skills, significant experience with children and adolescents (ages 3+), multi-cultural attunement, and the demeanor to contribute to the overall goals of a small, personalized private practice that strives to be truly client-centered in its approach. Excellent writing, task management, relationship building, and communication skills are essential. It is important to be passionate about testing, interested in staying current in the field, and receptive to guidance in promoting a very high quality, collaborative experience for clients.

Testing referrals come from a wide range of local independent schools, colleges, therapists, attorneys, and psychiatrists. Although this role involves a good deal of child/adolescent assessment and a larger percentage of educationally-based inquiry, there are many opportunities for adult evaluation as well as more psychodynamically-oriented work (i.e. Rorschach, TAT). The ideal candidate is adept across the young child to young adult age span and has considerable experience administering measures such as the WPPSI, WISC, NEPSY, WJ-IV, etc.

DC licensed to practice required.Testing experience of 3+ years is ideal and having acquired skills across graduate, internship, and post-doc levels is valued. School/Clinical graduates are especially encouraged to apply. Please note that potential candidates who are only interested in working more sporadically are welcome! The baseline commitment can be quite minimal for the right person who might be looking to supplement therapy work, integrate back into the work-force, etc.
